‘For The Blue’ was created and funded by a group of young ocean loving Kiwis, and details how plastic pollution is damaging our environment, whilst showing the real world solutions on how to fix it. This film takes you on a journey with the Project Blue team, who have spent three years in places like Hawaii, Malaysia and at home here in New Zealand, seeing the consequences of our waste ending up in our environment.
Project Blue speaks to people who are leading the plastic free movement, whilst documenting how we can all be part of the solution, rather than the problem.
Their goal for this documentary is to inspire the next generation of change makers, to think big about the issues we face, and act upon them. After the screening of this inspiring film, someone from the Project Blue team will be at the cinema, answering questions and discussing the film.
