Learn about creating a small food forest in your suburban sized yard. We'll cover compost, fertile soil, plant selection, guilds, keeping chickens, maintenance.
Set in a mature food forest in a suburban sized garden, this workshop will show you how much you can grow, as an alternative to grass, lawns, border beds etc. Feed your family using permaculture principles and regenerative practices. Seedlings and cuttings may be available. We'll make freshly foraged herbal tea.
Will only be cancelled in the event of a weather bomb. Due to space restrictions, max 8 attendees.
Best to park on nearby Howard Hunter Ave, due to lack of parking in our small street.
Suitable for children over 12 yrs.
