On this day we will be caring for thousands of native trees that were recently planted as part of our Papakura Stream Restoration Project. Weeds such as bindweed grow rapidly and strangle juvenile trees and we need your help to give them the best chance of survival! CVNZ will supply all of the tools and equipment needed, and leaders who are keen to share their knowledge of native flora and fauna.

This event will go ahead rain or shine, however in the case of sever weather we will contact all volunteers who have registered via email to inform them of any cancellations.

What to wear: Please wear sturdy, comfortable footwear and preferably something you don’t mind getting muddy (gumboots, hiking shoes, work boots, trainers), appropriate outdoor clothing (lightweight long sleeved clothing and trousers are encouraged to protect yourself from cuts and scratches and insect bites/stings).

What to bring: Please bring with you a hat, waterproof jacket, sunblock, a snack, water and any medication you may need (hayfever medication, inhalers etc). We will have extra water, sunblock, snacks and insect repellent with us on the day.
