Waste Exchange
For the past four years the Waste Exchange has operated from Hamilton servicing both the Waikato and Bay of Plenty regions. Funding from Environment Bay of Plenty has seen the successful Waste Exchange expand its Bay of Plenty services, officially launching this regions Waste Exchange programme in October 2003.

So what is the Waste Exchange all about?
The Waste Exchange is a not for profit service that operates as a free to business service and facilitates the exchange of information resulting in the diversion of waste from landfill to reuse or recycling.

Why should your business or organisation join?
Businesses utilise the Waste Exchange to assist in the management of their waste. The Waste Exchange helps businesses find alternatives to disposal and many businesses have had results that have saved them money. The Waste Exchange is also cost-effective way to improve the environment by reducing what goes to landfill.

There is more to this concept than just exchanging products. New businesses are being created as well.

How do I join?
So if you or your business may have something that you no longer need or want, or perhaps someone else has something that you require you can enquire on the Waste Exchange website. It costs nothing to join and its easy.
