A Festival Of The Environment
The third EcoFest BOP is expected to be as successful as its predecessors in 2000 and 2002 where more than 100 events were staged during each festival, attended by more than 10 000 people throughout the region.
The festival continues to celebrate the environment; the primary focus and theme for EcoFest BOP 2004 will be Waste Reduction.
To coincide with this theme, EcoFest BOP will move around the regional centres with the Hazmobile, which will be collecting all those nasty hazardous and dangerous waste materials!
Becoming involved with EcoFest BOP can provide a vehicle to drive your organisation or industry message out into the community. Regular press releases will be sent to all media leading up to and during EcoFest BOP 2004. It is anticipated that regular features will be published in each area, and an advertising campaign will also be negotiated to promote events in relevant areas. There are also many altruistic benefits in participating in EcoFest BOP.
